COZY DINING
TURN DESIGN INTERIOR HAS ONCE again succeeded in stylishly expressing their flair for dark palettes – this time at D Empire Brasserie, an Italian restaurant at Main Place, USJ. Designed by Jeff Lee and Cherie Chuah, the restaurant takes on TDI’s signature style that combines strong solid shades, raw materials and retro-industrial theme in a fashionable manner.
In the main area, Jeff and Cherie have allocated a few different areas for dining and conversation, which results in a play of different materials and colours. Towards the centre, divider screens give individual tables a sense of privacy, while a long couch is flanked against the graphic wall affording more dining spaces. Tucked at the corners, we see a combination of sofas to create intimate conversation spots.
